The interview had gone smoothly. I received a LinkedIn message requesting me to send my application if I was interested in a software engineer position at Amazon. I immediately replied to their request, and the next day they sent me an email describing the whole process.
The first interview stage was a coding assessment. It involved two problems to resolve and to describe the methodology used for each solution.
I resolved the first problem. For the second problem, my solution worked for 10 out of 18 test cases. Despite this, they decided to move my application forward and sent me a form to fill out, which assessed my behavior in different situations.
There were no "bad" options for each situation, but I received negative feedback after this test without being told the reason for the rejection of my candidacy.
