I was contacted by a hiring manager on LinkedIn.

It took two weeks for the phone interview to be scheduled.

The interviewer, a Senior Engineer, was five minutes late and didn't introduce himself properly. He only mentioned his name and role and didn't seem to care about what I had to say. He never smiled and appeared very stressed.

The interview lasted only about 1-2 minutes before we jumped directly to a coding question. It was an easy one, and he did offer hints to help.

I'm glad I didn't prepare extensively for this interview, as it would have been a waste of time.
