Good place to get your foot in the door to big tech, but leave
Software Engineer • Former Employee
New York, NY
March 10, 2026
Pros: - Good pay.
- Lots of career opportunities if you seek them, and switching teams is extremely easy if you don't like your current one.
- Lots of problems to solve.
- Overall, it's not a bad place to be, but do ask yourself what you are here for.
Cons: - Typical big tech and large company pain points include top-down decision making and lots of processes to push through just to launch something simple.
- Promotions are very difficult, and sometimes it's better to jump externally and come back.
- WLB, teammates, and manager are a crapshoot.

Come here if you want to work like a machine
Software Engineer • Current Employee
March 22, 2021
Pros: Pay is reasonable.
If you’re super strong technically, it’s a good place.
Cons: Hella tons of work to do. They don’t care about WLB or the learning process because they want “ownership.” They just give you a deadline and ask you to finish. If you can’t, just pip.
