Process
The interviewer gave me a Quizlet vocabulary test and said that interns don't usually get coding assessments. This showed me that he literally didn't know or had no experience interviewing.
It felt like I got unlucky and didn't have a fair chance.

Great Teams, But Intern Ignored
SWE Intern • Former Employee
Seattle, Washington, United States
January 8, 2024
Pros: Lots of internal tooling.
Ownership culture.
Brilliant teams and coworkers.
Large intern class, offering more networking opportunities and events.
Pay to interview effort ratio is optimal.
Cons: - Sometimes your team won’t look out for your best interest as an intern.
- Other times your manager will ping you at 8 p.m. (during an internship, mind you).
- Lastly, Amazon hires so many interns it’s hard to stand out for Quant/Unicorns when competing the following year (this only applies if you’re not in your penultimate year).
