Process

I had a phone screen interview. I scheduled it two weeks after receiving a call from the recruiter. The interview process went smoothly.

1st section: The phone screen was about 60 minutes long. They asked 2-3 leadership principles (LP) questions:

  • Why Amazon?
  • What is the coolest thing you've ever done?

2nd section: Then the interviewer directly went to the second section, which was a coding round. In this round, they asked me a LeetCode easy question.

3rd section: In this part, they asked a system design question. They asked me to design a parking lot. I talked about serverless architecture.

4th section: You will be given 5 minutes to ask questions to the interviewer.

Questions

  1. Why Amazon?

  2. What is the coolest thing you've ever done?

  3. Coding: Array question, asked complexity.

  4. System design question: Parking lot.
