Workload - They sugarcoat the term with “raising the bar” to get extra work from you. If you are a support engineer, you are not only doing your responsibility but also doing SDE work, QAE work, Data engineer work, etc. If you deny, you are not meeting the bar.
No career growth - Career growth is very, very slow. If you want to change your role internally, managers won't let you. If you want to get a level up, you can't until managers want you to.
Cracking the interview is greater than skills for them; due to this, they keep making wrong hires. If you are skilled, there is no value for you until you go to another company and then come back here after cracking the interview for that role.
Toxic environment - Leadership will keep sugarcoating things, but behind the scenes, it's in their hands only. Everyone wants their growth only; they have their favorites whom they want to see grow.
No hike - They will give you a 1-2% hike only.
No gifts/bonus - One sweet box as a Diwali present. That's it for the year.
Advice doesn't matter. They are not going to improve.
