Amazon tech jobs have a reputation for being high-stress, high-overtime, and high-turnover.
At least in my division in Lab126 (devices org), though, I saw absolutely none of that. Some people on my team had been there for almost a decade. I almost never worked overtime (and never saw others working excess amounts of it either), and always felt like I was heard and supported.
The Amazon "brand" as an employer is really bad. You avoid a lot of that from being part of Devices, which is its own org separate from retail, fulfillment, etc. But still.
It was good, but after the ninth round, they rejected. They should have given one more chance to people who reached the ninth round, as they have some ability as well. So, they should also be considered.
Good interview with some pro-level questions into data and Python. Checked the decision-making skills and mathematical skills of the candidate, communication skills also analyzed, and thereafter few logical questions.
Python - DSA questions Data Modeling - Asked to design a data model for a transactional database schema. SQL - Simple to medium questions that can be solved easily. Behavioral - Covered questions like those at other companies.
