No input in team and project placement. Internship highly focused on full-time conversion. Highly variable management quality. Data Eng. is very H1B heavy. Data Eng. interns cannot switch teams or receive full-time offers for other positions. Large infra means a lot of legacy tech.
Automatic team and project placement is demotivating for the self-motivated types you want to hire.

Data Engineer Intern
It consisted of two consecutive 45-minute rounds, all conducted online. I solved one SQL problem and one Python problem. They also asked me to explain a project I had worked on and posed some basic database knowledge questions.

Two back-to-back one-hour interviews. Both are behavioral and technical. There is also a 10-minute break in between interviews. You will receive an offer 7-10 days after. Overall, not bad at all.
