The expectation would be that you would work for more than 8 hours. There are a number of leadership skills that are used as weapons for your review to show where you are lacking, and they would be least bothered on the skills where you are exceeding. They select random people and put them in PIP (try searching employee reviews on Quora), and they ensure that his/her career is screwed up at Amazon (as the employee cannot apply for internal roles, and if they resign, Amazon will never hire them back).
Stop picking people by being biased to put them in PIP. Try to implement your leadership skills at work in a positive way rather than in screwing up someone's life.
