I still haven't reached 12 months, but I like the pace of change and the processes behind the changes. You have the ability to be as successful as you want to be at Amazon, as long as you bring innovation and thoughtfulness with you. Amazon's Leadership Principles (LP's) bring a nice framework to allow you to communicate potential changes and project ideas.
I've seen a little too much of taking LP's too far, such as bias for action. All ideas are not created equal, and I feel that there are times when "earn trust" and "insist on the highest standards" are forsaken for action.
