Amazon will increase the standard of the workers it has and hires, which is great. However, Amazon continually increases the expectations of its workers while minimizing its return to the employees. It is not a company that makes you feel wanted long-term unless you are on the corporate side of the business. They are continually looking to "invent and simplify" as they say, which long-term means reducing the pay and level of experience required for all positions throughout the company. Amazon will say their biggest principle is Customer Obsession, but in reality, it is just saving money by cutting corners, which they will call "frugality".
