As an engineer, I haven't seen any company treating its employees that well. By far, Amazon is the most customer-centric company, and they treat their employees, from the interview process all the way to the end of the contract, as their customer.
You are often asked for your opinion, your feelings, etc. They try to deliver you the best experience possible.
The amount of work that is required is quite big, even though it is totally bearable and manageable. However, you'll see that the onboarding process is quite long and it takes you time to discover your main tasks.
