A good company but a quite high workload
Amazon is a fast-paced company where you get to innovate and impact the tech world before your own eyes. You can see your work have an impact on society, which is very fulfilling. You normally get stock options after 2 years, which is great since the stock price has been growing rapidly for a very long time.
The workload can be quite heavy. You may have poor work/life balance depending on the team you are on and the environment, but overall, tech teams are quite busy. Also, the salaries seem low compared to other big tech companies like Google.
Lessen the amount of work of your engineers. Raise salaries or give more RSUs.
