Smart/driven teammates.
Demanding expectations. Long hours while on the road. Little regard for employees' work/life balance.
Managers are under the gun themselves to ensure engineers and their projects are delivered on time, so their demeanor is understandable. Even so, management should pay more attention to guiding employees in furthering their professional development within the company and providing feedback on employee performance. Many engineers arrive without much previous professional experience, so providing ample feedback, both good and bad, would really benefit the department.
