There were 4 rounds, and all were technical. The last one was HR. I received a referral from an employee for the QAE position in Chennai. After applying, I got a call from Amazon the very next day.

I applied online. Easy technical interview, which I failed. They make you feel at ease. Before the technical interview, I had an introductory interview with HR, who explains how the selection process will work.

Interviews at Amazon are usually a challenge, so be prepared to answer deep technical questions and likely go through multiple rounds. Sometimes the process extends to another circle, but if you make it, it's worth it.
