Your 110% is their 90%. They always expect you to do more, even if it means working late and not even mentioning overtime pay, because it's inferred that it's by your own volition.
The requirements of your position are nothing out of the ordinary, or at least that's how they want you to see it. The problem arises when, to meet those expectations, you have to navigate a sea of uncertainty and ask dozens of people to even understand what you have to do, with what, and how.
Your supervisors will tell you ad nauseam that you are expected to figure things out on your own. They will reprimand you if you take too long trying to figure things out for yourself, but also if you ask or seek help "too much"; they will tell you that you "need constant direction".
One day your supervisor will tell you that you are on the right track and later, that same day, they will tell you that you are not meeting expectations (all because so-and-so gave them feedback that you haven't convinced them yet).
Honestly, it's a very toxic company and they are very open about it. For them, you either give more than 100% all the time, or you are below expectations, and they will make you pay for it every day.
