- Upper management is not in sync with the ground reality.
- Huge turnover of employees, surprisingly even at the leadership level. The implications can be felt at the ground level because each new person comes and tries to do something new, completely uprooting and throwing out the previous work/project.
- Numbers. Meaningless numbers. That’s all everyone cares about.
Look at developing sustainable processes and solutions. For an organization as forward-thinking as Amazon, the mid-tier management is surprisingly short-sighted.
