Pros

Recent 2.20 pay increase.

Tier 3 roles are less labor-intensive, so you aren't killing yourself to make rate.

Cons

Could be temporary if you don't promote or leave your role after 2 years, because of a culture to always be moving up. However, training and managers are mediocre at developing talent or setting expectations.

Advice to Management

Nothing I say will change Amazon's management system because their system.

Internal Talent Developing Programs shouldn't be biased towards Seattle candidates. Looking at you, ATA team.
