- Flexible hours.
- Huge initial onboarding (2-3 months), which leaves you well prepared, as there is a lot of Amazon's own technology.
- Good compensation, better than the market (but I believe Google pays more).
- Very strong culture of diversity.
- On-call: You are on standby every X weeks (usually every 2 months) for 1 week. You are compensated well for it.
- Lots of Amazon's proprietary technology. Everything is proprietary – the 'Teams,' Google, Git, Stack Overflow, etc.
