Downtown Seattle traffic is getting difficult, and public transportation has worsened over the years. I spent 9 enjoyable years taking the bus but now must drive myself.
The company has grown very large. As a result, you see more of a bell curve on everything: good and bad managers, engineers, etc. Look at your space. Reach out to people working in it and find out if it is right for you.
Keep the engineers in charge. Don't let the MBAs take over. They often have unrealistic expectations.
