Great place to work, but if you find the right team
Amazon is huge, and teams are very independent. In general, it's a great experience with lots to learn and resources to do so.
Given the many teams and the level of independence they have, some may be hard to work with or fail to get the resources they require. Usually, this is because they do not know how to ask for them.
If you are in a team that seems overworked, change to another; most are not.
If you are a new manager at Amazon, you are competing for keeping your team alive. Be sure to hold your team together and not rely on your peers for opinions on whose team is the one needing the most attention; everyone on the management team is fighting for their team.
