Felt my soul being zapped out of me
You get a lot of money and don't have to do much work.
I was on the Alexa Care team. It always felt like my job was pointless, as the product was pretty much useless. I ended up leaving because of this feeling.
Everything is heavily bureaucratic. I imagine other projects at Amazon, such as AWS, would be more fulfilling.
Embrace the aspects that originally led Amazon to become large, not the aspects that cause companies to die.
