Overall, it's a best company for the environment, work culture, and flat hierarchy. Personally, one should be lucky to have a manager who is 100% following Amazon's policy. You are screwed if the manager bends the rule as he/she wishes. (Though, this happens with most organizations in India even though they are world-class; blame is on the people, not the company.) The same applies to Amazon.
