Work with some of the smartest people on amazing problems. Teams are small but have a lot of autonomy. You really get a sense that feedback is heard regardless of levels or experience.
Sometimes the on-call can be busy, but weirdly enough, it creates a strong ownership culture within the team to learn from mistakes in a non-personal way. You can push back on feature asks to invest internally.
4 hours long, typical interview style. Had a system design question despite being explicitly told there wouldn't be one. The interviewer for the system design question was in training and didn't have a great command of English.
I passed all the OA1 tests, however, I was rejected after 3 days of OA2. OA1 had two questions, both were LeetCode medium questions. There was no feedback at all, so I have no idea where I went wrong.
4 levels of interview: - One on system design - Second on the Amazon company principles (we have 14+ principles, need to prepare before the interview) - Third is with manager round, where he tested technical and also the principles - Final is with HR
