Even after getting approval from my manager about my conversion into the company as an SDE, they were unable to provide me an SDE role, stating they have a lack of headcount availability.
The interviewer was very unhelpful and not responsive to anything I was doing. The question was fairly doable but confusing; thus, I expected at least some response to the code that I was writing, if not guidance, but I got nothing.
It was just one interview with LPs and one medium LC (Group of Anagrams). The LPs: 1. Describe one time you faced a challenge. 2. Describe one time you received bad feedback.
The behavioral and technical portions were part of a single round. Interviewers were very friendly. The interview started with behavioral questions, which were targeted towards specific leadership principles. I was given a single technical question
