Pay is good. If you can keep up with the politics and stressful work environment for more than 4 years, you are respected.
Very stressful, bad management, and constantly changing deadlines. You are in charge of the full software lifecycle; that is, you need to do a lot of infrastructure work, DevOps, etc.
Please stop pipping so many people.
