My comments are based on my experience at AWS. Apart from the commonly listed pros of working at AWS, like fast-paced environments, opportunities to learn and grow, and cutting-edge tech, I would also like to add that I was lucky to get some really supportive and accommodating teammates and even managers. I went through quite a lot personally during my stint at Amazon, and at no point did my work (or anyone at work) add to that stress.
Work-life balance is super hard to achieve. One must constantly be on the lookout for possible burnout.
Value your employees as much as you value your customers.
