- Company name recognition on your resume.
- On-call can be hectic if the software your team owns is critical and/or badly maintained.
- If your management chain doesn't like you, it's best to start looking for a new job.
- You need to survive the stack rankings, otherwise you'll get put onto focus, which can lead to a PIP.
If a project goes badly due to lack of clarity and changing priorities, maybe ask yourself what led to this happening in the first place instead of giving out pips.
