The pay was really good, and the stocks almost always go up.
AWS was horrible: 70-80 hour weeks and unrealistic deadlines without support. A “figure it out on your own” mentality. Extremely toxic.
Kindle was much better in terms of WLB until crunch, which lasted a few months. The work is not exciting and is lined with red tape everywhere.
