You will probably forget your family and friends because you won't get any time to be with them. You'll always be involved with some kind of work, or an escalation, or sev2s. Your shift doesn't end at 6 PM; it just never ends. It's a nightmare.
Develop a backbone and strike off "Strive to be Earth's best employer" because you clearly aren't.
