Good pay for an intern. A stipend is provided for housing. I learned a lot.
Solitary work. My team had no sense of camaraderie, but I attribute that mostly to our project manager. We were all working on different things, so nothing brought us together as a team.
Depressing environment. Everyone ate lunch at their desks. Perhaps I would have had a different experience with another group; the guys a cubicle set over seemed fun and boisterous.
Don't throw teams together just because "teamwork" is important. There's no point in daily stand-ups if you're all working on vastly different projects.
