Good company to work for (just good)
- Good compensation
- Well-known company (people will ask you)
- Plenty of time to prepare (3 months) before your first line of code
- I don't feel motivated (< 3 months doing my Embark stuff)
- You will work with many legacy systems.
- Don't expect to see geniuses. Amazon is a company that hires many people, and the hiring bar isn't as high as they say.
- In the contract, you will work more than 40 hours per week: 9 am to 6:48 pm + 1 hour for lunch, for a total of 44 hours per week.
- After the pandemic, everyone will need to return to the office. That is part of Amazon culture.
