The work is certainly very interesting, as Amazon uses the latest tools and technology. You will also get to work with some exceptional people in the industry.
The work-life balance is almost nonexistent. People work late hours, and then you get into peer pressure. The workload is so much that you feel compelled to work harder, and that burns you down very soon.
