There are many great engineers working for Amazon. You can learn a lot while making decent money.
Burn rate at Amazon is very high, but it is very team-specific. The average engineer stays only 1 1/2 years before moving on, which makes knowledge transfers and long-term projects more difficult than they should be.
Find a way to increase the average time an employee stays; that would make life easier for everyone.
