Pros

They paid well, but there weren't many benefits. The work-life balance was good for me as an intern, but it looks harsh for full-timers. They focus a lot on company values, which are great, but they are willing to not rehire great candidates if they do not align with them.

Cons

Some teams are better than others in terms of being friendly and going to eat every day. I got stuck with one where people like to do their own thing (eat at their desk), so lunchtime was boring when my friends were not around.

Advice to Management

Amazon is great for personal growth, but the materialist perks are less attractive. I loved what I was doing there, and that is why I decided to come back. However, I have seen over time that the company policies are different in different countries. For example, my experience with the HR in India was terrible because he stopped replying to my request to work there, even after the HR in Seattle asked him to reply.
