FAANG level pay, too bad it's the worst of the bunch.
- Zero meaningful benefits; you must stay 3 years in order to earn your 401k match.
- Unrealistic deadlines set by "Software Development Managers" who have never developed software in their life.
- Bad engineering culture -- no tests/declining code quality due to deadlines, toxic agile/sprint practices (i.e., exact day estimates, pointless retros, long daily stand-ups), weak code review process.
- Poor to non-existent mentorship from senior+ engineers.
- Leadership straight up lies: Went from "we will never end remote work" to "we are ending remote work except for those hired virtually" to "everyone must return or face termination without severance."
