Pros

Provided few of the best development tools available in the market. High standards of coding enforced in most teams. Great managers (this depends on your team). Great facilities for employees (WFH setup, flexible timings, etc.). Flexibility to provide your timelines for work.

Cons

Sometimes there are too many processes slowing down the development. Seniors colleagues often stonewall your work when they disagree. The tech stack is old; they often take years to catch up with the open-source market. Neutral work-life balance.

Advice to Management

Amazon culture has become archaic and can take some input from the outside world. The best way to do this is to hire experienced candidates from outside Amazon, take their input into consideration, and fight back the fear of adapting to new technology.
