Cons
  • Not good managers.
  • No empathy at all in higher management.
  • Not always true if you have intelligent people around; many below-average hirings are there.
  • No value for innovative employees.
  • Too strict on the pace of delivery against quality.
  • Too slow development cycle.
  • On-call is too hectic.
  • You are not supposed to get help from seniors, as that'll be considered a waste of their time, so it's a clear waste of workforce.
  • You have to flatter your manager.
Advice to Management

Get on ground level to understand the superpower of an employee and how he/she can be a force multiplier for the team, instead of evaluating all with the same meter.

Managers are not always right. Do some research before taking action against an employee.

Many talents are wasted by giving employees work they don't fit into, and many useless but good self-marketing talents are hired.
