Working at Amazon
I have worked at Amazon for 1.5 years. The only benefit I see in working at Amazon is that you get the brand tag on your head, that's all. And yes, they fool you around with the salary.
And if you are lucky enough, you can get 1-2 good intellectual people around you.
Well, there are many, but I will list the top ones.
- They fool you around with the salary.
- The manager has no job other than forcing you to send daily emails to increase visibility.
- Releases take so much time. In that period, startups launch their products and get a million-dollar evaluation.
- Stupid people in the team only put you down to grow. They also treat their manager as their relative just to get a 2% more hike.
- Hikes are so low. If you are exceeding expectations, you will get a maximum of 10%. There are also possibilities that after a year, you don't get anything.
- I had a technically incapable lady in my team, and she got promotions. Lol.
- The work environment is so hectic.
Overall, Amazon being a great place to work is a myth.
Remove handcuffs.
