You learn new technologies and are challenged every day. You need to be at your best every day. There are many brilliant colleagues who keep the environment motivated and challenging.
Once you join, there is very limited scope of growth, both compensation-wise and career-wise. So, if you do not negotiate well at the time of joining, you might repent afterwards.
Since there are very few levels, promotion from mid to senior level can take 6-12+ years.
Create a more fun work environment and create more opportunities for growth.
