Good People, Lots of Work, Burned Out
The people in my team were great. I enjoyed working with them. The project assigned to me was customer-facing and felt meaningful. Amazon definitely sticks to their company values.
I worked far more than 40 hours a week. I regularly worked on weekends and in the evenings, at night, and towards the end, my sleep schedule was a little wrecked. To be fair, I think this definitely had to do with working remotely. I could also just be a bad engineer.
