As a student, this internship gave me a great insight into what real-life software engineering looks like. However, I'm sure I could have gotten this at any well-established company.
I felt I had no real identity. When you work at Amazon, you're one of a million, not one in a million. The experience depends on the team. One of my friends was getting drinks with his team every Thursday and playing games with them every weekend. On the team I was in, people were filing complaints to HR about one another.

Software Development Engineer Intern
The interview process included an online coding assessment with two LeetCode questions, then a one-hour technical interview with one LeetCode question as well as some background questions. After that, I heard back from them in a few weeks.

Interview (one round): They asked some data structures and algorithms questions, and also some basic CS knowledge. I found it not easy at all. The market is really not doing well right now.
