Pros

I learned a ton during my internship and worked on high-impact work. Though I didn't join full-time, I had the opportunity to discuss career paths and growth with not only my manager but also others within the organization where I interned. Overall, everyone I worked with was very supportive.

Cons

Saw full-time engineers burn out and leave. It was hard to contact recruiters; it felt like I was always talking to a computer, and I always felt like a number. TLDR, at layers above your immediate teammates, it didn't feel like there was a lot of human-to-human interaction, and you feel like a cog in the machine.

Advice to Management

When there are people issues (compensation, offer packages), please have designated recruiters or individuals in your HR org in contact with potential full-time employees. You feel like you are not valued by the company.
