Challenging internship with a lot of learning potential
I guess it varies from boss to boss, but I had a lot of independence in my projects. The work was very challenging, but I learned a lot from it.
Internships are randomly assigned, so you might feel really spiteful when you get placed into Linux kernel and operating systems while your friends are in retail and marketing. Work can be a bit open-ended sometimes. No perks like other tech companies, but the pay is good enough that I can't complain.
