Pros
  1. FAANG
  2. Good compensation
  3. Working on demanding technologies
  4. Resume boost
  5. Salary on time, reimbursement, and other benefits like insurance.
Cons
  1. Poor work culture.
  2. No work-life balance; you just keep on working like a rat with no knowledge of when your work will get finished.
  3. No support from fellow teammates; literally, everyone here is so busy that they can't get time for themselves, so helping others will be the last priority.
  4. Management is one of the worst in the entire industry, with no support from your manager (based on my and several others' experience). Literally, my manager was so sh*t that he even canceled 1:1 meets with every member of my team during my last months of internship. Then I came to know that he was responsible for my evaluation for internship. Even though I completed 2 of 3 projects, I still didn't get a return offer for full-time because of the manager.
  5. You can't learn and upskill while working here; you don't get time.
Advice to Management

Be responsible to your employees and show them support. You can't progress if you can't manage your team and know them. Try to identify the problems your members are dealing with and provide solutions instead of just listening in the meeting and then throwing their opinions in the trash.

This was my first job during college, and I expected a fruitful experience here, but I think I had too many expectations from them because they had one principal: Hire to fire.
