Pros

Very, very, very fast-paced. Learning can be super quick.

Still very much a startup type. Best technologies are used, and there's freedom to choose your technology stack.

Much to learn from peers.

Very well-followed Amazon principles.

Very easy to switch teams as per your interest.

Cons
  • High hit on work-life balance. You have no personal life here. It's all about you and your Mac. Nothing else.
  • On-call: 7 days * 24 hours per member in a team in rotation. WTF, 7 days * 24 hours.
  • No office perks (frugality).
  • If someone thinks he has workload, then he must come to Amazon to realize what workload actually means.
Advice to Management

Current things are working for you. I don't think anyone's advice will make any significance to you. Keep on going. (Employees have better choices, too.)
