As a person who has worked in a startup previously, my pros (depends upon the team) are:

• A lot of responsibility in terms of scalability.
• A lot of room for communicating with clients.
• Worked along with some of the brightest minds of the country, got to know how to approach real-life scenarios.

The cons depend on the individual. If you are a less disagreeable person, then the cons would be more severe.

1. If you agree on almost everything and are not good at communicating, you will feel the manager's expectations get too high and eventually will be burdened with additional work.
2. Stress will increase if you do not communicate properly.
3. As they have the "It's always Day-1" mentality, several teams still follow the startup mentality, and that can negatively affect your work-life balance.

It's like either extreme work (mostly) or extreme leisure (rarely).

Overall, a very good company to work with if you are a highly disagreeable person with a competitive nature.

Work-life balance depends on team goals.
