They focus on productivity. The work is fresh and challenging. The more capable you are, the better Amazon feels to you because as long as you do well, you can grow your career at a very fast pace. Also, one thing I like here is that Amazon allows you to move to pretty much any job (or domain) you need, provided you show enough talent, i.e., pass the interview.
They focus on productivity, which means that no matter what job you do, they expect you to do a 12-hour work within 8 hours. The company never treats its employees well, and I blame the company for this because no matter if you are a basic employee, a manager, or a senior engineer, Amazon makes you work like a machine.
It's common sense in the company that you have to give 120% and work like 10 hours a day, or you can't meet your metrics. Everyone knows that and accepts that, but this is not the right way. People like to give 200% on day one, but they will burn out if you make them work like every day is day 1.
It is very difficult. The interviewer asked graph and tree depth questions in DSA. I was unable to answer those questions, and I tried to give answers, but it was not possible for me.
OA 2 DSA Questions and Leadership Principle Simulation. One question was about lexicographical string comparison, and the other was sort-based, rule-based, but tricky to attempt. It took 3-4 hours to complete.
1. Online Test (100 mins) * Aptitude (Quant + Logical Reasoning) * Verbal Ability * Pseudocode/Logic & Basic Programming * Numerical puzzles 2. Interview (Single combined round) * Technical: Basics of DBMS, SQL, OS, Networking, c
