Great flexibility: as long as you get your work done and attend meetings, it doesn't matter how many hours you work. Good compensation. Your voice is heard. Surrounded by very smart people.
Some deadlines can be tight. Lots of self-learning/teaching. Teammates will help, but not hold your hand.
Your manager makes or breaks your experience. If you're very lucky, like me, Amazon is a great place to work. Make sure that you ask the hiring manager a lot of questions during the interview to ensure you don't end up on an overworked or toxic team.
