Compensation Intensity Forces you to grow
I worked with an excellent team on an NPI. The focus and intensity pushed me in ways that other jobs have not, which was great for a while.
Like many, the intensity eventually wore me down. I had leadership principles being screamed at me. I can deal with it, but many can't.
Amazon could benefit from dropping some of the aggression but still sticking to accountability. There's still work there to be done as well.
